This study investigated the acceptance of disability effects on job satisfaction of workers with disability and analyzed whether the effect is mediated by self-esteem. This study used 1st year data of second wave 2016 Panel Survey of Employment for the Disabled (PSED) and employed Path analysis with A-MOS. The main research findings of this study were as follows: First acceptance of disability are found to have direct effect on self-esteem and job satisfaction. Second, we found not full but partial mediating effect of self-esteem between the acceptance of disability and job satisfaction. On the basis of the research, I suggested that various self-esteem improvement programs, including music and art therapy, are urgently needed for workers with disability with low acceptance of disability in order to maintain their job satisfaction.
